NEET-UG 2024 Results: Another petition has been in the Supreme Court against the calls for re-examination for NEET-UG admissions. This time 56 Gujarat-based students have moved the top court against the demands for cancelling the results of the NEET-UG 2024 examination. The students prayed in the top court that results should be cancelled only for those who have adopted unfair means in the examination. The 56 students have contended that a re-examination would be unfair to those who have put in immense hard work to successfully clear the examination.

"The Hon'ble court may further direct the respondents not to re-conduct NEET-UG 2024 by cancelling NEET-UG 2024 held on 05.05.2024 as that would not only be unreasonable and harsh for the honest and hardworking students but also would lead to the infringement of the Right to Education..." the plea read.

They submit in court that they are young students of 17-18 years of age and have given their 100% dedication and consistent hard work of more than 3-4 years, to pass the NEET(UG)-2024 exam, to achieve their dream of becoming a Doctors.

"Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing Respondent No. 01 to investigate and identify those students who have adopted unfair means or persons who have indulged themselves in the illegal activity of paper leakage, impersonation or any other activity of fraudulent nature and take strict actions against all those persons."

The Supreme Court bench led by CJI DY Chandrachud is scheduled to hear all the petitions alleging paper leak and other malpractices under NEET-UG 2024 exams conducted by the NTA on July 8.
