CBSE EXAM 2025: 42 LAKH STUDENTS TO APPEAR FOR CBSE 10TH, 12TH EXAMS BEGIN TODAY; SHIFT TIMINGS, KEY GUIDELINES

CBSE 10th, 12th Exams 2025: Nearly 42 lakh students will appear for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10, 12 exams which will begin on Saturday, February 15. CBSE 10th students will appear for their English (Communicative) and English (Language and Literature) paper today, while Class 12 students will sit for the entrepreneurship paper. The shift timing for the CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2025 is from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The CBSE 10th, 12th students need to carry admit card at the exam centre and should report at least half an hour before the commencement of exam. The students need to reach their exams center by 10 am. CBSE Class 10, 12 exams 2025 are being held at 7,842 exam centres across the country and 26 countries abroad.

CBSE 10th, 12th Exams 2025: Key exam centre guidelines for students

Reporting time: CBSE 10th, 12th exams 2025 will commence from 10:30 am, the candidates are advised to reach the CBSE exam centre half an hour to one hour before the exam. The CBSE exam centre gate will be closed at 10:30 am, no candidates will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 10:30 am.

Admit card: The admit card is one of the essential items to carry at the exam centre. Without hall ticket, the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

If there's any issue with the hall ticket or it is in a distorted form, the candidates are advised to carry documents like- Aadhar card, Voter ID card, PAN card, other photo ID proof. The candidates can carry passport size photos if there is any issue with pictures in the hall ticket.

Essential items: The candidates should carry pencil box, water bottle, other important items as mentioned at the exam centre.

Restricted items: Smart phone, Bluetooth devices, any sorts of electronic gadgets are banned at the exam centre. The candidates should not also carry metal items such as bangles, jewelries at the exam centre.
