BENGALURU: KSR RAILWAY STATION SOON TO GET TWO NEW PLATFORMS; CHECK DETAILS

Bengaluru News: The central government on Thursday announced that two new platforms will be added in KSR Bengaluru railway station. While providing details, Minister of State for Railways V Somanna stated that the 180-crore project will be the part of ambitious Rs 1,500-crore redevelopment plan. He further stated that the platforms will be added to decongest the crowd as the KSR Bengaluru is the busiest railway station in the state.

He also proposed construction of two new railway terminals at Devanahalli and Nelamangala. However, he added that Magadi and Ramanagara can also be considered for the second railway terminal. Somanna emphasised that the silicon city has become home to the people from several states and the number is increasing exponentially every year.
