The name of the Miniratna PSU under discussion for the 80 per cent first interim dividend is Cochin Shipyard. Cochin Shipyard, which was incorporated in 1972, is a leading shipbuilding and ship repair company.

This Miniratna PSU, a constituent of the BSE 500 index, has announced a dividend of 80 per cent, i.e. Rs 4 per equity share of face value of Rs 5 each for FY2025-26.

In an exchange filing, the company said, “We are pleased to inform that the Board of Directors of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) at their meeting held on November 12, 2025, has declared 01st Interim Dividend of Rs 4.00 (80%) per equity share of face value of Rs 5 each for the financial year 2025-26.”

The record date for determining the entitlement of the shareholders of the company to receive the dividend has been fixed on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

The interim dividend of this Miniratna PSU will be paid by December 11, 2025.

In an exchange filing, the company said, “The dividend will be paid, subject to deduction of tax at source, by December 11, 2025, i.e., within 30 days from the date of declaration, to those who are Members of the Company.”

Since the stock market was closed for the weekend, Cochin Shipyard’s share price stood at Rs 1,725.70, up 1.07% from the previous closing of Rs 1,707.40.
