Kapil Sharma’s starrer Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 has been grabbing attention ever since the posters have been released. The makers have been sharing posters of different weddings. Reportedly, the much-anticipated sequel to the comedian’s Bollywood debut may hit theatres on September 26, marking the 10th anniversary of the original film’s release.
Bollywood Hungama has quoted a source, “The makers are considering multiple dates and one of the dates being seriously looked at is September 26, 2025. There’s not much competition on that day and moreover, the date has an importance. The first part was released exactly ten years ago in that week – September 25, 2015. This has added to the significance of the date.”
The source further continued, “A final decision is yet to be taken whether September 26 will be locked as the release date. The makers are clear that they want the best possible date for the film as they are confident of its prospects at the box office.” Directed by Anukalp Goswami, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is produced by Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, and Abbas-Mustan under Venus Worldwide Entertainment in association with Abbas Mustan Film Production.
The film promises to be the ultimate shaadi-comedy, with Kapil’s character now entangled in a multicultural marital mess. Starring Kapil Sharma and Manjot Singh, the film continues its signature blend of comedy, confusion, and chaos that made the original a fan favourite. One of the fans wrote, “waiting eagerly to see myself in this movie.” Another wrote, “Kapil Sharma Sir Legend Comedy King Aur Bollywood Superstar Super Movie Ke Sath kis kis Ko Pyar Karo 2.”
Previously, in an exclusive chat with News18, Kapil Sharma revealed that after Zwigato, he received a host of film offers that required him to play ‘serious’ roles. Talking about it, he told us, “After the trailer of Zwigato released, I was offered nine films. And all these films were in the serious zone. But (it was evident that) many of those writers weren’t serious about their own work (laughs).”
We quizzed him about what has kept him away from doing more Hindi films, and he candidly shared, “I’m thankful to God for being able to do some good work and earn well by being within my own comfort zone. But if I’m required to step out of that space and go work under the scorching sun, the script should be good so that it feels worth it.” The 41-year-old adds, “I only want to do films that touch my heart. It was a priority for me and it will always remain a priority. I don’t want to do films just to earn money. I’ve earned enough. I’m very rich (laughs).”
